StephenKP
There has been alot of activity on promoting self-generation of electricity and consideration is getting closer to making future electricity being generated "locally" either in small power plants or individual homes. see BBC article here We know tesla has been developing home batteries to power homes with some models now on the market in the US, but it is a technology which is not easy to identify with the storage batteries and we all know what batteries do in fires. it links in with the topic on the old forum about the solar panels and the fact people weren't aware that the panels themselves can be over 300c operating normally As this technology becomes more common and more homes will start having larger batteries would this evolve in your job to take on different tactics and risk assessments when approaching a house fire?
