MDT/Radio Status’

Maybe a quick one this… the status ‘Mobile Returning’, is this an LFB’ism or from elsewhere on the map?

I've not heard it used or used it myself in LFB. Status 6 mobile available for anytime you're either not on your way to a shout or in attendance at an incident. Booked via the MDT as well unless it's not working!

Kent use Mobile Return.

Mobile Returning Available used to be an Essex status for pumps returning after a job when such things were done by radio message.  Now on the MDT, it’s just Mobile Available.

Humberside used it on radio back in the day, I think MDT status is now mobile and available.

"Mobile Returning" is still used by SWF&RS. Used verbally back in the day and still used verbally today on multiple appliance incidents. The status on the MDT is also used when on single appliance incidents; handy for time stamping "Closing Home Station" when on overtime calls as you're still attached to the incident so to speak (if that makes sense?).
