Popular Post Kim
Hi everyone!! I got a call on Thursday to say I have been successful with Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service... I’m over the moon!!! I first applied to Cheshire Fire Service 22 years ago and looking back... Well I guess it just wasn’t meant to be for me then (I was only 18) Since then my dream of someday becoming a Firefighter has never left me and at the beginning of last year I thought- I have to give it another go. Since the beginning of last year I’ve been knocked back from a few counties and for me success came on my 5th attempt. I feel really proud of what I’ve achieved so far and can hold my head up because I know I have worked so hard for this- as I’m sure everyone else has🙂 Yes the knock backs are so tough take but like everyone says on this great forum if you really want this job you have to pick yourself up, keep going and don’t give up. I’d just like to say a massive thanks to everyone who contributes to this forum offering help and advice, But I would especially like to thank @Andy1 for all the support and invaluable advice he has given me. I’m sure there’s lots of you on here who at some stage have been given help and kinds words of encouragement from Andy.🙌 🌟 I’m looking forward to the future and can’t wait to start training! Thanks again everyone! 5 1 5 Link to comment

Dare I say it, I hope you stick around and continue to be a member assisting those who need to assistance etc and hopefully start to see you post with the Operational Sections in the not too distant future. Well done 1 Link to comment
