Appliances from the 70's and 80's

A late friend's hobby was photographing fire engines from all over the place during the 1970s and 80s.

His large collection came my way 18 months ago and I passed them on to Peter (Petros) Williams, a historian and author with a long association with the fire service.

The collection is steadily being published online and you can look through it if you enter "alastaircollinscollection" into Google. 

Peter has also published a book  West Ham  and it's Fire Brigade
