Morty1562
Hi everyone I joined Merseyside Fire Brigade in 1974 and Retired in July 2006 (32 years) aged 50 (My birthday was in June 2006) My understanding of the 1992 pension scheme was that you had to pay pension in for 30 years to get the the maximum out of the pension scheme, as i paid in for 32 years am I entitled to a contribution refund? I know there was a case won by the FBU on the grounds of age discrimination and the cut off date was December 2006 which i accept , my post is about the rules of the pension scheme itself Any opinions would be greatly appreciated Link to comment
