Knots

Hi all,

I should hear about a start date for lfb soon and wanted to start getting some practice in. What knots would you say are the best to learn  as im going to buy some climbing  rope today to practice  with.  Cheers J

• Half hitch
• Clove hitch
• Rolling hitch
• Round turn and two half hitches
• Bowline
• Running bowline
• Double sheet bend
• Fishermans knot
• Overhand knot
• Figure of 8 knot

That should be the vast majority you’re going to use, learn all those and you’ll be fine

Yes, there’s working at heights kit and specific rescue harnesses designed now for the purpose and to comply with W@H regulation.
