RDS Training Course - Ladders

Start my course soon, nurvous about working off a roof ladder. Any one else the same

Understand you may be nervous having never done it before, but your instructors will be there to talk you through every step so just listen carefully to them. And if it does goes properly Pete tong you'll have a lanyard and harness on with the roof ladder attached to another ladder so you won't go anywhere! Enjoy your course it'll be one of the best things about your time in the brigade looking back if it was anything like mine.

Not sure for other services, but if its SFRS you won't use the roof ladder on the course, but getting back on the 13.5 from the 3rd floor may challange your

Take it back, aye there will be roof ladders, but if you can step onto/off the 135 then the roof ladder will be fine.
