Close Proximity Crewing

I like the idea of self-rostering with a start time of 07:30. This would provide the crews with maximum flexibility by them choosing either a 12 or 24 hour shift. The 19:30 also allows the opportunity to get home at a reasonable time or not to ruin their evening whereby a 09:00 @ 21:00 finish will?

I also think 24 or 48 hour on a station are not too bad either.....As a FDO my 57 hour straight shift last duty weekend saw me pick up 3 x 4 pump fires, 1x 6pump fire and a 1x3 pump fire plus a couple of nothings, Im closing down on 49 years of age and I still managed it after 16 hours on the incident ground.
